The story of Florence is intrinsically connected to the story of one family: the Medici. It was thanks to their patronage that Florence will take the leading role on an international scale, but if it wasn’t for a Medici lady, Anna Maria Luisa Ludovica, a large part of this inestimable heritage would have been lost. On the 31st October, 1737, it was her to sign the Family Pact with the Lorena, to whom she leaves “Galleries, Paintings, statues, libraries, jewelry and other precious things” but “with the express condition that the possessions will serve only as an ornament of the state, for the public utility and to attract the curiosity of Foreigners, and nothing to be transported, or removed , outside the capital, and the rule of the Grand Duchy”.

The Medici Dynasty Show goes behind the scenes of the Medici family and offers the opportunity to attend a theater piece-media, result of the artistic genius, using modern technology to reinterpret humanism and art. Enriched by an intense scenography and with a great viewing impact (during the dialogue of Gian Gastone and Anna Maria Luisa, characters and works which they cited appear on large panels on the sides of the dining halls), with a great attention to detail (the costumes are Tedavi 98, makeup and wigs of Filistrucchi), refined and philological valid, also suitable for teaching. The Medici Dynasty Show is a “cultural cocktail” of history, art and theater, ideal to complement the greatest visit in Florence.
Il 31 ottobre 1737 fu lei, infatti, a firmare il Patto di Famiglia con i Lorena, ai quali lasciava “Gallerie, Quadri, Statue, Biblioteche, Gioie ed altre cose preziose” ma “a condizione espressa che di quello che è per ornamento dello Stato, per utilità del Pubblico e per attirare la curiosità dei Forestieri, non ne sarà nulla trasportato, o levato, fuori della Capitale, e dello Stato del Gran Ducato”. Firenze è“città del passato” e, al contempo, “città del futuro”, la sua identità è ancora più complessa e sfaccettata, ed è questa natura multiforme che rende Firenze così unica e accattivante centro di cultura e storia italiana. The Medici Dynasty Show si propone di coniugare passato, presente e futuro, in costante evoluzione, pur rimanendo radicati alle tradizioni che hanno caratterizzato Firenze per secoli. The Medici Dynasty Show va dietro le quinte della famiglia Medici ed offre la possibilità di assistere ad un pièce teatrale-multimediale, frutto di ingegno artistico e storico, utilizzando la tecnologia moderna per reinterpretare l’umanesimo e l’arte. Arricchito da una scenografia intensa e di grande impatto visivo (durante il dialogo di Gian Gastone e Anna Maria Luisa, appaiono sui grandi pannelli ai lati della sala luoghi, opere e personaggi da loro citati), appare decisamente curato nei dettagli (i costumi sono Tedavi 98, trucco e parrucco di Filistrucchi), raffinato e filologicamente valido, adatto anche alla didattica. The Medici Dynasty Show è un “aperitivo culturale” fatto di storia, arte e teatro, ideale per completare al meglio la visita di Firenze.
