In the most hidden part of Teatro della Pergola revive the nightmares of the human soul. I racconti del terrore – mezzanotte a teatro con Edgar Allan Poe is the new touring show proposed with the Compagnia delle Seggiole in the “dungeons” of the greatest Florentine theater, that create beauty on the scene. The guides of the path are Poe and all the thoughts that lay between sleep and wakefulness, between life and death, between reality and fantasy. The first cycle of stories is scheduled in November, 13-15, 18-21 and 25-28: The Tell-Tale Heart, The Masque of the Red Death, The Premature Burial. The second cycle will be presented on December, 2-5, 9-12 and 16-18: The Oval Portrait, Blackwood, The Black Cat. It starts at 11 pm.

The historic visit-show at the Theater, In sua movenza è fermo also by Compagnia delle Seggiole, dedicated to men and women, to the machines that knew and know how to move, inspired by the motto of the dell’Accademia degli Immobili, will be presented Sundays 8^th and 15^th November, December 13^th, January 10^th, February 14^th, March 13^th, at three different scheduled times: at 10 am, 11 am and 12 am. A real journey into the mysteries of the scenic art and into the environment of the nineteenth-century city’s Theatre, into the museum, to the Great Hall as we know it today.

Nella parte più nascosta della Pergola rivivono gli incubi dell’animo umano. I racconti del terrore – mezzanotte a teatro con Edgar Allan Poe è il nuovo spettacolo itinerante proposto con la Compagnia delle Seggiole nelle “segrete” del massimo teatro fiorentino che creano la bellezza sulla scena. Guida del percorso, Poe e tutti i pensieri che stanno tra il sonno e la veglia, tra la vita e la morte, tra la realtà e la fantasia. A novembre, dal 13 al 15, dal 18 al 21 e dal 25 al 28, è previsto il primo ciclo di racconti: Il cuore rivelatore, La maschera della morte rossa, La sepoltura prematura. A dicembre, dal 2 al 5, dal 9 al 12 e dal 16 al 18, spazio al secondo ciclo: Il ritratto ovale, Blackwood, Il gatto nero. Inizio ore 23.00. Agli uomini e alle donne, alle macchine che sapevano e sanno muovere, è dedicata invece la storica visita-spettacolo nel Teatro organizzata sempre con la Compagnia delle Seggiole, In sua movenza è fermo, ispirata al motto dell’Accademia degli Immobili, nelle domeniche 8 e 15 novembre, 13 dicembre, 10 gennaio, 14 febbraio, 13 marzo, in tre diversi orari: 10.00, 11.00 e 12.00. Un vero e proprio viaggio nei misteri dell’arte scenica e negli ambienti dell’ottocentesca città del Teatro, intorno e sotto la platea, nel Museo, fino alla Sala grande come noi oggi lo conosciamo.
