New Year in Florence
3…2…1… Happy New Year! How will you be spending the hours leading up to 2016? When it comes to ringing in the New Year in Florence, there are parties, events and dining that can make the start to your 2016 the best you’ve ever had. Many of the larger restaurants and hotels will have their own displays, frequently held from the roof top gardens. In Piazza Santissima Annunziata you will find musicians performing gospel music. In Piazza della Signoria the Symphonic Orchestra will be playing as usual. The music concert originally held in front of Santa Maria Novella station is now moved to Piazzale delle Cascine and will start at 9PM, where there will be various artists and singers on stage. If you are looking for a lively crowd, the nightlife scene in Florence is the place for you. Top venues to look for include Full Up, Space Electronic, and Lochness Club. Book your tickets in advance; these places always have something exciting planned for this special night.
