After a great debut in Athens in 2014 and a second fairy tale like edition in 2015 in the Mauritius, this year the DWP Congress brings to Florence the crème de la crème of the world’s wedding planners. From the 11th to the 13th of April Florence will host the best Congress in the world for the promotion of tourism of wedding destinations and 150 of the most important wedding planners from over 50 countries around the world.
We will have the opportunity to meet the best suppliers in the five-star hotels and exclusive locations: photographers, jewelers, florists, caterers and many other wedding service suppliers. Florence is the cradle of the Renaissance period and is universally recognized as a world heritage of art and architecture, one of the most beautiful cities in the world and its monuments, museums, beautiful palaces, Villas and breathtaking views will be an inspiration for unique events. More and more couples choose weddings organized abroad in order to make a unique and diverse experience out of their most important day.
Florence meets this demand perfectly, and in recent years it has been chosen to host the weddings of many celebrity couples. Among the participants of the past editions we find Marc Blum, who oversaw the wedding of basketball player LeBron James and Savannah Brinson, and of the Hollywood actor Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, also Yoshitaka Nojiri from Japan, owner of the largest wedding planning company of Asia and number one of the kind in Japan, which organizes every year 17,000 marriages.
From England Sarah Haywood who, in 2011, attended and officially commented the ceremony of Prince William and Catherine Middleton, from India Mohomed Morani counting among his customers the world’s most expensive wedding (76 million dollars), from Lebanon Ziad Raphael Nassar, creator of royal weddings in the Arab world, and Vandana Mohan one of the most famous wedding planners in India, who has among her clients the celebrities Katy Perry and Russell Brand.
