Come ogni anno l’Accademia Italiana di Firenze ha organizzato il grande evento di fine anno al Teatro ObiHall, all’insegna del glamour più sontuoso e della creatività, valorizzando il lavoro svolto dagli studenti provenienti da ogni parte del mondo e che si confrontano su un tema trainante: “Materiali di moda” e le infinite combinazioni possibili di tessuti, colori, pellami, stampe e ricami.
Duecento creazioni che non mancano di sorprendere per ricercatezza, eccessi e riferimenti ironici. Sono stati consegnati anche i premi Piramide dell’eccellenza. Premiato Roberto Capucci, 86 anni, la cui storia personale e professionale è profondamente legata a Firenze ed alla nascita della moda italiana nella Sala Bianca di Palazzo Pitti, “Ricevere un premio qui a Firenze è per me importantissimo perché è qui che ho iniziato la mia carriera nel 1951, grazie al Marchese Giorgini. La prima intervista me la fece Oriana Fallaci. Sono molto devoto a questa città”. Il Premio è stato assegnato anche allo storico lanificio Faliero Sarti, alla multinazionale Klopman International ed a Tawn Chatchavalvong che, già studente all’Accademia Italiana, a soli 40 anni, è uno stilista di grande successo. Quest’anno l’Accademia Italiana ha organizzato anche una mostra che accoglie le creazioni dei laureandi in design, grafica e fotografia al Magazzino N.25 presso il Museo Bellini, nel Lungarno Soderini 3/5.

Like every year the Accademia Italiana of Florence organized the great, end of the year event at ObiHall Theater of Florence, filled with the most sumptuous glamor and creativity, valuing the work done by the students coming from all over the world, who confront a driving theme: “Fashion materials” and the infinite possible combinations of fabrics, colors, leathers, prints and embroideries. Two hundred creations that do not fail to amaze through refinement, excess and ironic references. Pyramid of excellence prizes were also awarded. Prizewinning Roberto Capucci, 86 years old, whose personal and professional history is profoundly tied to Florence and to the birth of Italian fashion, in the Sala Bianca of Palazzo Pitti: “To receive an award here in Florence is extremely important to me because my career started here, in 1951, thanks to Marchese Giorgini. I had my first interview with Oriana Fallaci. I am very devoted to this city”. The prize was also awarded to historic wool company Faliero Sarti, to the multinational Klopman International and to Tawn Chatchavalvong who, already a student of the Accademia Italiana, now, at only 40 years old, is a successful stylist. This year the Accademia Italiana also organized an exhibition that includes the creations of design, graphic and photography students in Magazzino No. 25 at the Bellini Museum, on Lungarno Soderini 3/5.
