Da Vinci Experience, exhibited from May 13th to October 8th 2017 in the spaces of the deconsecrated church dedicated to Santo Stefano al Ponte in Florence, is a unique multimedia exhibit, able to recount the genius of Leonardo da Vinci, his science and eclecticism which characterized him in the various disciplines to which he devoted himself during his life. An exhibition project that makes the concept of edutainment (or educational entertainment, from the ancient Latin motto “lucendo docere”, which is “fun teaching”), combining cultural entertainment, family oriented and educational, to entertainment. Da Vinci Experience provides the visitor with unique and unforgettable emotions, thanks to the succession on big screens and the majestic architecture of Santo Stefano al Ponte of hundreds scanned images in high-definition, video full Hd, the spread Dolby surround soundtrack and sound effects that envelop the entire display environment to 360 degrees. Numerous models of the Leonardian machines enrich the path of Da Vinci Experience, life-size and scale, reproduced based on the original projects by the Martelli, Florentine artisans of ancient traditions; the workstations for the virtual reality experience with Oculus VR specially designed for the exhibit by Orwell; the animation proposed by Effeci in the space dedicated to the 10D cinema; the  didactic area with valuable anastatics of the famous Codes and the drawing sheets edited by Giunti.

Da Vinci Experience, realizzata dal 13 maggio all’8 ottobre 2017 negli spazi della chiesa sconsacrata di Santo Stefano al Ponte a Firenze, è una mostra multimediale inedita, in grado di raccontare il genio di Leonardo, la sua scienza e l’eclettismo che lo ha caratterizzato nelle diverse discipline a cui si è dedicato durante la sua vita. Un progetto espositivo che fa proprio il concetto di edutainment (o intrattenimento educativo, dall’antico motto latino “ludendo docere”, cioè “insegnare divertendo”), coniugando l’intrattenimento culturale, family oriented e formativo, allo spettacolo. Da Vinci Experience regala al visitatore emozioni uniche e irripetibili, grazie al susseguirsi sui megaschermi dell’allestimento e sulle magnifiche architetture di Santo Stefano al Ponte, del video mapping di centinaia di immagini digitalizzate ad alta definizione, di parti video in full Hd, della diffusione in Dolby surround della colonna sonora e degli effetti sonori che avvolgono a 360 gradi l’intero ambiente espositivo. Arricchiscono il percorso della Da Vinci Experience numerosi modelli delle macchine leonardesche, a grandezza naturale e in scala, riprodotte sulla base dei progetti originali dai Martelli, artigiani fiorentini di antica tradizione; le postazioni per l’esperienza di realtà virtuale con gli Oculus VR realizzata appositamente per la mostra dalla Orwell; il cartone animato proposto dalla Effeci nello spazio dedicato al cinema 10D; l’area didattica con pregevoli anastatiche dei celebri Codici e i fogli dei disegni editi da Giunti.
