In occasione della seconda edizione del festival Firenze Rocks (dal 14 al 17 giugno 2018), all’Ippodromo del Visarno (Parco delle Cascine), il prossimo 15 giugno 2018, si esibiranno i Guns N’ Roses all’interno di una programmazione che vedrà protagonisti veri e propri mostri sacri della musica (il 14 giugno i Foo Fighters, il 16 gli Iron Maiden e il 17 Ozzy Osbourne). Not In This Lifetime Tour è il progetto musicale della band statunitense capitanata da Axl Rose e Slash che ha avuto grande successo di pubblico e critica e che tra il 2016 e il 2017 ha venduto oltre 3 milioni di biglietti nel mondo. In Italia l’unica data è proprio quella fiorentina.

Il tour aveva fatto tappa in Italia lo scorso 10 giugno, all’Autodromo di Imola, con immancabile sold-out e Axl Rose (voce, piano), Duff McKagan (basso), Slash (chitarra solista), Dizzy Reed (tastiere), Richard Fortus (chitarra ritmica), Frank Ferrer (batteria) e Melissa Reese (tastiera) avevano mandando in visibilio i fan con il loro show. I Guns N’ Roses si sono formati nel 1985 e fin da subito hanno dominato la scena rock di Los Angeles grazie al loro atteggiamento sfrenato e travolgente, poi hanno conquistato il mondo intero con la pubblicazione dell’album di debutto del 1987, Appetite for Destruction che ha fatto storia in quanto è ancora oggi l’album di debutto più venduto di sempre negli Stati Uniti, con oltre 30 milioni di copie vendute. Nel 1991, Use Your Illusion I e Use Your Illusion II (sette volte disco di platino) hanno raggiunto immediatamente i primi due posti della classifica Billboard Top 200. Nel corso degli ultimi dieci anni, dopo la pubblicazione dell’acclamatissimo Chinese Democracy del 2008, i Guns N’ Roses si sono esibiti dal vivo in concerti sold-out e importanti festival, sono indubbiamente una delle band più importanti e influenti nella storia della musica e continuano ad essere un punto di riferimento per milioni di fan in tutto il mondo.

Guns N’ Roses Will Perform At Firenze Rocks

Rock band Guns N’ Roses will perform live on June 15th, 2018 at the second edition of the Firenze Rocks festival (June 14th-17th, 2018), at the Ippodromo del Visarno (Cascine Park), alongside other music superstars (Foo Fighters on June 14th, Iron Maiden on the 16th and Ozzy Osbourne on the 17th). The Not In This Lifetime Tour is a musical project by the American band led by Axl Rose and Slash, which has turned out to be very successful with the public and critics, selling more than 3 million tickets worldwide between 2016 and 2017. The only scheduled date in Italy is in Florence.

The tour had already stopped in Italy last year, on June 10th, at the Imola Racetrack, the concert was clearly sold out and fans went crazy for the performance by Axl Rose (voice and piano), Duff McKagan (base), Slash (solo guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboard), Richard Fortus (rhythmic guitar), Frank Ferrer (drums) and Melissa Reese (keyboard). Guns N’ Roses were founded in 1985, and have dominated the Los Angeles rock scene ever since thanks to their unbridled and passionate attitude, which led them to global success with the publication of their 1987 debut album, Appetite for Destruction, which made musical history and, still today is the highest selling debut album ever in the United States with over 30 million copies.
