La rete di solidarietà degli chef fiorentini non si ferma. Per il quinto anno – dopo uno stop per il Covid e quattro appuntamenti dedicati alla ricostruzione post-sisma di Amatrice, alla lotta al femminicidio e al supporto all’ospedale di Careggi – torna la tradizionale serata benefica organizzata sulla terrazza del Forte Belvedere. L’appuntamento è per martedì 7 settembre 2021 dalle 20,30 e coinvolgerà alcuni dei più rinomati chef fiorentini e toscani che hanno risposto con grande generosità all’appello lanciato dal comitato “Italian Chef Charity Night” per dare un segnale di continuità con le iniziative degli ultimi anni. Il programma prevede una cena a buffet aperta al pubblico con un’offerta minima di 25 euro che saranno interamente devoluti al progetto del Villaggio Montedomini della fondazione “Il cuore si scioglie”, con la costruzione di case per gli anziani bisognosi. I partecipanti potranno assaggiare i piatti firmati da 16 importanti chef, tra i quali anche i titolari di diversi ristoranti stellati: tra di essi Marco Stabile (Ora d’Aria), Filippo Saporito (La Leggenda dei Frati), Antonello Sardi (Le Tre Virtù), Marco Cahssai (Atman), Silvia Baracchi (Falconiere) e Stelios Sakalis (Castello di Spaltenna), insieme a talenti come Andrea Perini (Al 588), Lorenzo Romano (Insolita Trattoria) o Kin Cheung (Element), Edoardo Tilli (Podere Belvedere) e Paolo Gori (Da Burde). Ogni chef sarà affiancato da uno studente della scuola di cucina Cordon Bleu. Durante l’evento – patrocinato da Comune di Firenze, Confcommercio e Confesercenti – si potranno assaggiare, oltre ai piatti degli chef, anche i cantucci del forno Pane, amore e fantasia, i vini del Consorzio Chianti Colli Fiorentini, lo champagne della maison Bergère, le verdure di Giotto Fanti Fresh e il gelato di Sergio Dondoli e Cinzia Otri. “A cinque anni dalla prima edizione del charity – spiega il “Forchettiere” Marco Gemelli, organizzatore insieme a Once Events – chiediamo a Firenze di ripetere la straordinaria prova di generosità delle edizioni precedenti. Gli anziani hanno pagato il prezzo più alto alla pandemia e per questo vogliamo chiamare a raccolta la popolazione di Firenze perché possa dare ancora una volta il suo aiuto”.

Italian Chef Charity Night at the Forte Belvedere. Tuesday the 7th of September 2021, the solidarity meeting with 16 Tuscan chefs come back. All together for a good cause

The network of solidarity of Tuscan chefs never stops. For the fifth year – after a stop due to Covid and four appointments dedicated to the post-earthquake reconstruction of Amatrice, the struggle against femicide and the support at Careggi’s hospital, the traditional charity evening organized on the terrace of Forte Belvedere comes back. The appointment is for Tuesday the 7th of September 2021 from 8.30 pm onwards, and it will involve some of the most renowned Florentine and Tuscan chefs who responded with great generosity to the call initiated by the “Italian Chef Charity Night” Committee, who have been giving a signal of continuity with such initiatives during the past years. The program foresees an open-air buffet dinner with a minimum donation of 25 euro which will entirely devolved to the project of Villaggio Montedomini from the “Il cuore si scioglie” foundation, pursuing the construction of houses for the elderly in need. The participants will be able to taste dishes signed by 16 important chefs, amongst which the owners of several starred restaurants: amongst these are Marco Stabile (Ora d’Aria), Filippo Saporito (La Leggenda dei Frati), Antonello Sardi (Le Tre Virtù), Marco Cahssai (Atman), Silvia Baracchi (Falconiere) and Stelios Sakalis (Castello di Spaltenna), alongside talents such as Andrea Perini (Al 588), Lorenzo Romano (Insolita Trattoria) or again Kin Cheung (Element), Edoardo Tilli (Podere Belvedere) e Paolo Gori ( Da Burde). Each chef will be joined by a student from the Cordon Bleu cooking school. During the event – sponsored by Municipality of Florence, Confcommercio and Confesercenti – one will be able to taste, aside from the chef’s dishes, also the nooks and crannies from Pane, amore e fantasia, wines from the Consorzio Chianti Colli Fiorentini, champagne from the Bergère house, vegetables from Giotto Fanti Fresh and ice cream from Sergio Dondoli and Cinzia Otri. “Five years after the first edition of the charity – explains Marco Gemelli, the organizer alongside Once Events – we are asking Florence to repeat its extraordinary proof of generosity which it has shown in its previous editions. The elderly have paid the highest price of the pandemic, and for this reason we desire to call a gather of Florence’s population so that they can, once again, give their help”.
