Nelle calde sere estive divani e tavoli circondano la piscina, sul tetto di un palazzo del Trecento, nel cuore di Firenze. In summer, couches and tables are set up around the rooftop pool of a 14th century palace, in the heart of Florence. Il Rooftop Bar a The Social Hub Firenze si prepara alla stagione estiva con un menù nuovissimo che strizza l’occhio alla sostenibilità e al territorio. Sarà possibile godere ogni sera di una Firenze da cartolina, sorseggiando uno dei 14 signature drink firmati dalla bar manager Palmira Bertuca ispirandosi ai grandi classici, con diverse percentuali alcoliche, per soddisfare tutti i gusti, compresa una selezione di analcolici. Si va dal Florentine Fizz, composto da Monkey 47 gin, cordiale ai frutti di bosco, latte di mandorla, limone e San Pellegrino ginger beer, al Tommy from the block, i cui ingredienti sono Altos Reposado, Vida Mezcal, Lunae Persichetto, pesca infusa in agave, limone e guarnizione in pelle di pesca, passando per i principali e più amati classici come il Gold Digger, una rivisitazione dell’amatissimo Spritz con Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, Verjus, rabarbaro e uva. In accompagnamento ai drink, un menu di tapas in stile italiano, a cura dell’executive chef Gianluca Esposito. Seguendo la linea della mixology, anche l’offerta gastronomica è orientata agli ingredienti italiani e alla stagionalità delle materie prime, con l’obiettivo di sposare una prospettiva sostenibile, utilizzando il più possibile ogni elemento. In attesa della golden hour, ogni giorno a The Social Hub si tengono eventi, presentazioni di libri, dj set, momenti di networking, musica dal vivo e altro ancora, per poi concludere al meglio la giornata con un cocktail al Rooftop Bar.

The Rooftop Bar at The Social Hub Florence is getting ready for the summer season with a brand-new menu that plays footsie with sustainability and locally sourced. Every night, it will be possible to enjoy a postcard-esque Florence, sipping on one of the 14 signature cocktails created by bar manager Palmira Bertuca, inspired to the great classics, with different alcoholic percentages, to quench all palates, as well as a selection of mocktails. The choices range from a Florentine Fizz, made with Monkey 47 gin, wild berry cordial, almond milk, lemon, and San Pellegrino ginger beer, to Tommy From the Block, with Altos Reposado, Vida Mezcal, Lunae Persichetto, agave infused peach, lemon, and peach rind garnish, or even the main and more popular classics like Gold Digger, a twist of the beloved Spritz with Italicus Rosolio of Bergamot, Verjus, rhubarb, and grapes. Paired with the drinks, an Italian-style tapas menu, curated by executive chef Gianluca Esposito. Just as for the mixology, the gastronomic offer also opts for Italian and seasonal products, with the goal of following a sustainable approach, making the most of every single ingredient. Every day, before golden hour, The Social Hub hosts events, book reviews, DJ sets, networking gatherings, live music, and all sorts of happenings, to then end the night on a high with a cocktail at the Rooftop Bar.

THE LODGE CLUB

Alle Rampe del Poggi torna per il terzo anno il The Lodge Club, ristorante e lounge bar protagonista dei tramonti estivi sullo skyline di Firenze. Sulle terrazze del The Lodge affacciate sul centro storico è possibile degustare un aperitivo e poi rimanere a cena a ritmo di musica live e d’atmosfera. Al The Lodge ogni serata è unica, grazie a una programmazione musicale che animerà i tramonti di tutto il periodo estivo – fino a settembre inoltrato – mentre i palati più esigenti troveranno soddisfazione in un menu che spazia dallo stile italiano al sushi, passando per le pinse e il jungle street food, serviti nelle aree lounge del locale al Piazzale Michelangelo. Tra i piatti must del menù, lo spaghetto alla trilogia di pomodori, la linguina con gambero rosso cotto & crudo, il tomahawk con cimichurri, il ceviche e il gazpacho con mela verde e crudo di baccalà. The Lodge Club è operativo tutti i giorni, tranne la domenica, a partire dalle ore 18 e fino alle 2. Anche quest’anno, caratteristica comune a ristorante e area jungle è l’adesione alla filosofia del no waste, con un menù che riduce al minimo gli sprechi e punta ad utilizzare completamente ogni materia prima che si introduce nei laboratori di cucina del ristorante. For the third year, Below Piazzale Michelangelo, at the Rampe designed by Giuseppe Poggi, The Lodge Club restaurant and lounge bar will open its doors to customers to enjoy summer sunsets over the Florence skyline. On the terraces at The Lodge, facing the city centre, you can enjoy an aperitivo and stay for a dinner animated by music and party vibes. At The Lodge, every night is unique, thanks to a musical program that will liven the golden hour all summer long – until late September – while the more demanding palates can be satisfied by a menu that ranges from Italian cuisine to sushi, as well as flatbread pizzas and “jungle” street food, served in the lounge area of the restaurant. Some of the menu’s standout dishes include the spaghetti with three tomatoes, the linguine with cooked and raw red shrimp, the tomahawk with chimichurri, the ceviche, and the gazpacho with green apple and cod crudo. The Lodge Club is open every day, except Sundays, from 6.00pm to 2.00am. This year, like last, the common feature of both the restaurant and jungle areas is a no-waste approach, with a menu that minimizes excess foods and aims to use the entirety of every ingredient that is introduced in the kitchen.
