Italian Chef Charity Night 2025
On 9 September 2025, the highly anticipated annual charity event featuring 16 Tuscan chefs will take place on the rooftop of The Social Hub Belfiore
The venue may have changed, but the spirit remains the same. Now in its ninth year, the Italian Chef Charity Night is one of Florence’s most popular and beloved charity events open to the public. This year, the much-awaited evening – bringing together 16 chefs from across Tuscany – will be held on Tuesday September 9, 2025, atop the iconic rooftop of The Social Hub Belfiore, offering breathtaking views of the city. The event features tasting portions of signature dishes created by some of the most celebrated chefs from Florence and Tuscany: Vito Mollica (Atto), Antonello Sardi (Serrae Villa Fiesole), Giovanni Luca Di Pirro (COMO Castello del Nero), Francesco Nunziata (Castello di Fighine), Iside De Cesare (La Parolina), Alessandro Rossi (Il Gabbiano 3.0), Filippo Saporito (La Leggenda dei Frati), and Edoardo Tilli (Podere Belvedere), along with Andrea Candito (Golden View), Fabio Nistri (Degusteria Italiana), Stefano Ballarino (Villa La Massa), and Marcella Schillaci (Bistrot Lo Zero). The goal of the evening is to raise funds to support the fight against eating disorders. Since 2018, the event has supported a different noble cause each year, bringing together a diverse range of participants – both institutional and independent – ready to answer the organisers’ call and contribute to the fundraising effort. Blending gourmet excellence with social commitment, the event has become a staple on the city’s charity calendar. Born as Amatriciana Day in the wake of the 2016 earthquake, the Florence-based charity initiative has grown over time to include not only chefs but also pizza makers (this year: Tommaso Mazzei, Roberto Condioli, and Gianfranco Zanfardino), gelato artisans (Cinzia Otri, Gianfrancesco Cutelli, and Sergio Dondoli), and pastry chefs (David Bedu, Paolo Rufo, and the Tessieri School). There will also be focaccia by Lulzim Vulashi and canned cocktails by Riccardo Aldinucci. For one night only, the rooftop of The Social Hub Belfiore becomes a culinary journey, offering an array of savoury dishes, sweet creations, and gourmet treats.
