For Art Lovers:
As part of the campaign Mi Baci? (Kiss Me?) by the Ministero dei beni e delle attività culturali e del turismo, Valentine’s Day will be a 2×1 day at all public museums including the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti, Galleria dell’Accademia, the Medici Chapels, Bargello National Museum and many more. Tickets to Palazzo Pitti include the stunning Boboli Gardens which make for a lovely romantic passeggiata. If you are an official resident in Florence here is a great tip for you, residents can enter the gardens for free any day of the year through the back entrance by Porta Romana. The Uffizi Gallery will also host a special guided tour for couples this Sunday.
