75° Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia

La 75° Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica si presenta con un nutrito programma di premiere, italiane e internazionali, fra lungometraggi, corti, documentari e fiction. Il Direttore, Alberto Barbera ha confermato la sensazione di un trend positivo, spiegando che le nuove produzioni nazionali sono in netta ascesa, “con buone tecniche di realizzazione, progetti d’autore ben definiti e coerenza nella scelta dei linguaggi e dei soggetti. Non abbiamo difficoltà a dire che abbiamo considerato con uno speciale riguardo il cinema italiano, testimone delle angosce, delle paure, degli avvenimenti della nostra società”. Come da tradizione, la Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia si fa promotrice delle uscite nelle sale autunnali e le premesse sono ottime.

Il 29 agosto, nella Sala Grande del Palazzo del Cinema, al Lido di Venezia, il regista trentatrenne Damien Sayre Chazelle insieme all’attore Ryan Gosling, ha presentato in prima mondiale il suo nuovo film, First Man (Il primo Uomo), e la sua nomina ha già destato molto entusiasmo tra i suoi fan. Alberto Barbera ha dichiarato: “Un autentico privilegio poter presentare in prima mondiale il nuovo, attesissimo film di Damien Sayre Chazelle. Un lavoro personale, affascinante e originale, l’avvincente storia della missione della Nasa per far sbarcare un uomo sulla Luna, concentrandosi sulla figura di Neil Armstrong negli anni dal 1961 al 1969. Piacevolmente sorprendente il confronto con gli altri film epici dei nostri tempi, a conferma del grande talento di un regista tra i più importanti del cinema americano di oggi e premiato con 6 Oscar per il film La La Land”.

75th Venice International Film Festival

The 75th Venice International Film Festival presents itself with a rich programme of premieres, both Italian and international, ranging from feature to short films, from documentaries to fiction films. Director Alberto Barbera confirmed the feeling of a positive trend and explained how new national productions are clearly ever growing “with good realisation techniques, well-defined original projects and coherence in the choice of languages and subjects. We’re not afraid to say that we’ve given special regard to Italian cinema, a witness of the angst, the fears and the events of our society”. As per tradition, the Venice International Film Festival promotes the autumn cinema releases and the premises are excellent.

On August 29th, at the Sala Grande of the Palazzo del Cinema, in the Lido of Venice, 33-year-old director Damien Sayre Chazelle, together with actor Ryan Gosling, presented the world premiere of his new film, First Man, and his nomination has already generated much excitement amongst his fans. Alberto Barbera commented: “It’s a true privilege to be able to present the world premiere of the new, much anticipated film by Damien Sayre Chazelle. A fascinating and original personal work, the engaging story NASA’s mission for the first landing of a man on the moon, which focuses on the character of Neil Armstrong in the years from 1961 to 1969. The comparison with other epic films from our times is pleasantly surprising, confirming the great talent of one of the most important directors of today’s American cinema, who has won 6 Oscar awards for the film La La Land”.
